Refund policy

In short: a full refund within 14 days of a payment if you have not exported anything with your license key since that payment. Once you export, the payment is not refundable, except for a duplicate charge or a technical fault we cannot fix.

When you can get a refund

• Within 14 days, before any export. Ask within 14 days of a payment, including a renewal, and we refund it in full if no titles list, CSV copy or zip has been exported with your license key since that payment. Checking photos and previewing the titles list in the free checker is not an export.
• Duplicate charges. If you were charged twice for the same license, we refund the extra charge at any time.
• Technical failure we cannot fix. If a fault on our side stops the service working as described and we cannot fix it, we refund the payment for the period affected.

When you cannot

Once an export has been made with your license key, the payment it was made under is not refundable for any other reason. Before you pay, you tick a box to confirm that you want immediate access and understand that you lose your 14 day right to cancel once you export a pack. The app reminds you before your first export. We record the time of each export against your license so we can check refund requests.

UK and EU consumers

You have a 14 day right to cancel. An export ends it only because you asked for immediate access and acknowledged, before paying, that you would lose the right once you export. In the UK, each yearly renewal starts a new 14 day period, which an export after the renewal ends in the same way.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have by law. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you a right to cancel or a refund that goes further than this policy, that right applies. Paddle, our Merchant of Record, applies those rights as set out in its refund policy.

How to ask

Reply to your Paddle receipt email, use the link in it, or email [email protected] with the email address you bought with. Paddle refunds your original payment method.

What happens next

When a refund is made, the license key stops working. Copyright Office fees are paid to the Office, not to us, and we cannot refund them.

Canceling renewal

You can cancel renewal at any time, and your license keeps working until the end of the paid year.
